Home is where I can be myself

Mindset is core to defining my identity. Even if I have lived in other countries, standard of my belief and the way that I perceive the world is based on a Korean culture and way of thinking. Second is where my family members are originally from. No matter which country you are living in, my family will practice our home traditions; for instance, celebrating Korean New Year in Indonesia.
I have lived in many different countries and moved around different cities. So, my immediate picture of home isn't a physical building but a community - Korean community. Home means somewhere I can be Korean without having to put an effort to keep my Korean identity. The surrounding environment, such as Korean writings written all over the buildings and hearing Korean language, makes me feel comfortable and provides a sense of belonging - no need to stress and no need to put effort.
