Home is inner peace

Home is such an acquired taste. You grow up thinking that home means where you were born and raised, but then it changes to where you feel most content, or where the ones you love most are. And those two (feeing content and the people we love) are prone to change every day. Sometimes you feel like you’re content at a dorm room because it’s become more familiar to you over the past few years than your actual home. And sometimes you love your friends so much that you feel at home with them more than your family. So home is where you feel peace with yourself and love with others. And that’s why moving from home to home (or country to country) takes a while to adjust, because you need to be at peace with yourself and learn to love the people in your new environment all over again. Isn’t that something?
